A customer recently brought these to me to sell for him.  I nearly bought them for myself.....this is the nicest set of 1961 original Cibson knobs I have ever seen.  The condition is wonderful...I would rate them at "vintage near mint".  The set has a soft warm yellowing glow in the numbers and clear areas. Excellent vintage appeal and structurally perfect.  I do not see any chips in the rims as you often do.  The knurling is good (fits usa vintage pots like CTS and centralab).  The lettering is excellent.  In short, maybe the nicest vintage set of black early 60s knobs you will find.  The foils inserts are in nice shape with gold tint (the gold is rare...most of them are silver).  Black knobs were often used on the cherry finish but you also see them occasionally on sunburst from the factory. Get your vintage axe back to stock, or use these vintage plastics to dress up a Custom Shop C-Les-paul. YOWZA!
