Wasburn XB-500 five string bass

This is my Washburn bass that I definitely wasn't going to sell. ( I'm moving and need six months rent up front.) This is a professional instrument. If I'm playing in a rock band, this is the bass I use. I have the four string version of this bass as well, but this one sounds better, fuller and richer even if you only use the four high strings.It has a few small dents and light scratches on the back, I think from the rivets on jeans, and a couple around the edge, mostly on the lower edge. There are no chips through to to paint. ( I went and checked before I typed that.)I have removed the pan control for the pickups and fitted a three way toggle switch. This means you have three distinct sounds that are easily accessible and you can see at a glance which pickup you are using. The bass is fitted with Schaller strap lock buttons, I will leave these on unless you would like them replaced. The truss rod cover is not with the bass at the moment but as soon as I find it I will included it or forward it. ( I'm packing at the moment, so there's a good chance I'll find it.)I fitted a set of Elixir strings a while ago and they still play and sound like new. 45 to 130, I think these have a retail price of about £45 (Good grief) The bass has only ever travelled in a Hiscox Liteflite case. This is not included in the sale, but I am prepared to sell it. If it is being sent through the post I think the Hiscox case would be a good idea. If you would like more pictures or to hear it, please ask.
