Product Description

This fine guitar has a few minor finish flaws which you can see on the last two photos, but it plays new, looks nearly new, comes in the new factory box straight from Washburn, and is not marked with a "USED", a "B", or a "2nd" stamp anywhere on it.
The R60RCE/BCE is a round neck, acoustic/electric resonator guitar with a venetian cutaway for easy upper fret access. The body is comprised of a maple top, back and sides - flame maple in the case of the R60RCE - for powerful lows and rich mids. The top features a unique F hole and pickguard and supports a custom proprietary coverplate of Richie's design. It houses the spun aluminum cone and aluminum spider bridge for great sustain and a maple and ebony tipped top saddle for added crispness. The maple neck is capped with a 20 fret rosewd. fingerboard. String spacing, neck and nut width are wider than standard, 48mm at the nut, to facilitate fingerstyle playing and fast and precise slide work. The Wilkinson Deluxe tuners feature green buttons and have a 15:1 ratio for quick, accurate tuning. At the heart of the R60RCE/BCE's electronics is a Lace Sensor pickup with one volume and 1 tone control. This pickup has great overall balance and clarity, capturing the true essence, versatility and soul of this unique instrument. Richie Owens was brought up in a bluegrass family and began playing Dobro when he was just a boy. By the time he was in his teens, he was building and fixing his own instruments. Today, Richie designs, builds or repairs instruments for the likes of Nils Lofgren, Ron Wood and The Dixie Chicks. He recently was on tour with Dolly Parton as a featured performer, playing mandolin on her "Vintage Tour". Specs:

All items ship within one business day of payment. Shipments are processed Monday through Friday. Any payments received after 2pm Central Standard Time Friday will ship the following business day, Monday. We do not ship , answer emails, or take phone calls on Saturdays, Sundays or any postal Holidays. Some items may also be able to be picked up locally, please contact us ahead of time to set up a pickup. Please do not provide a PO Box as your shipping address when choosing UPS Ground. Only USPS can deliver to a PO Box.

Orders out of the US are shipped Priority Mail International. Customs duties , VAT's, brokerage fees, and taxes are NOT part of the quoted shipping cost and are to be paid by the customer when the package is delivered (unless the customer is purchasing the item through the eBay Global Shipping Program which DOES quote import duties).
