1971 AMPEG B15 PORTAFLEX - SERIAL:104197

1971 Ampeg B15. 30 watt tube Bass Guitar Amplifier. Fully serviced. This is one rare breed of bass amplifier that deserves to be played and is collectible at the same time.The amp has 2 Channels 1 bright and 1 normal input on each channel. Each channel has volume / bass / treble & 2 rocker switches for hi and low boost / cut.

The original CTS speaker has been re-coned by Wembley loudspeakers. The latches are in good working order . The valves have all been replaced (with Electro harmonic tubes). The power chord has been changed to a 3 pin plug. The the grill cloth is clean and intact. The tolex is shows a fair amount of wear and my technician has patched up a few areas of tolex. The chassis has a small patch of rust on the top but is otherwise it's clean.

Supplied with a Maplins step down transformer. Fully serviced by my amp technician. During the service my tech changed the power chord from a two pin to a three pin and removed the earthing Cap which is often referred to as the death cap to make it safe. The earth wire is then soldered to the chassis. The standby switch is new and was replaced by me tech.
