A 1972 Fender grey bottom Mustang Duo Sonic neck pickup. It has been rewound by myself Dave Leddin of Leddin Vintage Guitars and Handwound pickups based in Brisbane Australia. It has been rewound with period correct 42 AWG Plain enamel wire and measures 5.85k. It has been waxed potted to prevent feedback. It has a nice sweet mid '70s tone and sounds great in the neck position but could be placed in other positions in many types of guitar. The Mustang nnecks reverse wound but have south up magnets so it is out of phase with standard Strat pickups. The leads are original and measure about 9cm long. It does not come with the original cover but a new black or white solid cover will be provided with new stainless screws and rubber mounts. A Strat cover will fit but the poles sit a little low.
