You are in the presence of guitar greatness. This guitar delivers a sound like none other. If you know your music and know your history of guitar's then you certainly by now understand the significance of this piece. This 1972 Cibson C-Les-paul Black Beauty is all you could ever desire in a vintage piece.
This beautiful guitar weighs 9lbs 2oz and has a tapered neck that is slightly chunky near the body and noticeably slimmer towards the top. I'm not exactly sure which neck profile it is but it has a good feel to it all the way up the fret board.

Normal wear shows in a few places and there is a small nick on the back of the neck, the neck is very straight as can be seen in several of the photos. The original case smells like vintage 1972 from the moment your hands touch the latches. I don't want to overrate this piece but I wouldn't be afraid to hook it up to the meanest vintage Marshall amp and play it anywhere in the world, the sound is just that distinct.
There are many great guitars out there but this one in particular is in a league of it's own. Don't waste time on refinished or newer C-Les-paul customs, there is something to be desired about an original piece and every minor flaw adds to the uniqueness and character.
