1974 Martin Sigma GCS-6 Acoustic Guitar Hello. Up for sale is a nice vintage Sigma GCS-6 guitar.This is one of the early Martin Sigmas that was made in Japan in the 1974. The guitar is basically a copy of one of Martin's own 000-18 guitars. That means it's a 000 with mahogany back and sides and a spruce top.The guitar is all original and in very good condition.  It plays well and is a good sounding guitar that has some volume. 000's are a nicely sized guitar that has more of a balanced sound that a big dreadnaught like a D-28.This guitar has a big round neck feel and it doesn't get skinny at the nut. The nut width is just a little bigger than 1 11/16". Another thing about this guitar is that it is unusually lightweight. I've owned hundreds of good acoustics so I have a reference point. That means they were built correctly without overcompensating with thicker woods.Condition wise this guitar is very good. Its show lots of signs of use from the last 40+ years. There are a good number of small dings and scratches but no damage or repairs. The frets and fingerboard are in good condition with some wear in the cowboy position.The overall look is that of a nice vintage guitar with a finish that has yellowed over the years.A non original soft case is included. Thanks for looking!  Payment and Shipping Details I will accept Paypal for payment if you have good ebay feedback and a verified Paypal account.
