Well aged woods D-18 type  Ventura model V-6

with nice AA grade Mahogany neck and body and sides 

classic D-18 dreadnought Acoustic copy 

sanctioned build to US Specifications by Design in USA

 Japan workmanship fit and finish  very good build quality 

and has stood the test of time.

in top playing condition

 SET-UP with Martin Bone nut - Compensated saddle & Martin strings 

Very good vintage player too with nice LOW Easy to PLAY!!!

Your looking at a great vintage near 40 year old survivor folk…

its a 1979 Ventura V-6 Dreadnought acoustic V-6

D-18 copy in excellent vintage condition with a fresh JVGuitars set up 

we used a Martin bone Nut & compensated saddle set and 

also new set of 80/20 Phosphorus Bronze Martin Strings too 

she is in great condition 

Designed in USA D-18 

fine hand craftsmanship fit & finish is excellent wow 

This is a LAWSUIT ERA guitar made in Japan

Frets have been dressed

what a great playing guitar... great for soloing or fingerpicking 

and SWEET great tone for strumming 

all round excellent vintage D-18 type sound. 

Headstock has "Ventura"  inlaied in Mother of Pearl with patina

These Venture's were sanctioned by the US with its design 

supplied to Japan for building 

and this instrument has stood the test of time 

She’s in amazing players condition 

its Beautiful Mahogany neck is great its a full C shape 

42 MM at the bone nut ,,, 

This one feels like the 1968 Martin D-18 neck 

not to thin not to fat = PERFECT... 

with very little wear at all on the fingerboard 

is beautiful grained rosewood and it show no ruts from play 

and its frets are looking great as well with no divots showing either... 

she plays easily with low fingerboard action 

and its Bone Compensated saddle has room to move either up or down

 to your preference easily with a turn of a screw driver. 

this baby Just received a full JVGuitars set up... 

cleaned and res-hydrated , this guitar is in Vintage excellent condition 

with super low action, 

no fingerboard wear noted, 

frets dressed, tuners are great, not a wood crack to be found, 

cross braced like old Martin.

Neck medium profile full C shape look this guitar 

its built like a classic D-18 by Martin.. 

. impeccably built in Japan with excellent grade woods.. 

its SOLID Top is a lovely center seam Solid Spruce Top 

and shows a real nice color and patina

 I really like and its top is nice and crack free 

and pretty flat too with its original bridge still nice and tight

 to the top no warpage seen its good and so is its pick guard... 

Nice Rosewood fingerboard 

and a glossy glass like finish to this day still shines nicely... 

you pay extra for that these days from Martin and other manufacturers... 

This baby is well built and after nearly 40 years 

she's in really very good condition. This is the one you want!

We set this one up with the Martin bone nut & compensated saddle...

saddle is adjustable type and plenty of room to raise or lower its action should you like in the future.. 

this guitar rips like an electric guitar soloing is fast and EASY

 its neck it very nice and feels as great as she sounds... 

its used of course so its not new or mint with a few minor scuffs 

or minor doinks but actually is in better than average and well preserved 

for sure well loved by its one California owner, no finish checking no cracks.... 

great playing vintage tone woods dreadnought hand crafted in Japan... 

and taken care of all these years just for you. 

She's now ready for the next 40 years...Similar to the Takamine F340 and the Old Alvarez D-18 

with a good volume and sweet tone she is a real pleasure to play 

and is sure to please its new owner.

It's not new or mint of course 

it's nearly 40 years old now and  has been played 

but never abused it is a true played vintage guitar 

in its own right with its share of minor dings and or scrapes and such

 but over all very good- excellent vintage condition 

JVGuitars Rated at conservatively 8/10 

with a excellent neck angle to this day!!!

 it's action is VERY good and is low 

ABOVE average structural alignment integrity = KILLER NECK

and plays with ease,

 it's top is pretty flat , 

it's bridge is good and tight,

 it's a really good vintage D-18  from Japan

that sounds good and is a true all round joy to play

NOTE: if your an accomplished player 

you will appreciate the easy play action and its nice tone

intermediate player ease of play its fun to play!

beginner players will love it because it will be much easer on your fingers

with this JVG Low Action set-up 

and less difficult to learn on as it because take less effort needed

to press the strings down and you will want to put in your

needed play time to learn you must play it over and over

until you get it then play more!

The bone parts are a nice upgrade tonally

 from its old cheap plastic parts

now she sings!
