Carvin V220 Tremolo Electric Guitar in good condition with some light playwear and a few minor dings on the front and back. Classic black finish with chrome hardware. The guitar has a nice action and the neck which has had its finish sanded down to bare wood has a great feel. The 24 jumbo frets are in excellent condition.

The 2 covered humbucking pickups have a good tone and output. The controls are a volume for each pickup, a master tone, a 3-way pickup selector switch and 2 mini coil tap switches to add single coil tones to the mix. The guitar is equipped with a Kahler tremolo, a locking nut and locking tuners. This is a great looking, sounding and playing guitar. 

Includes the original Carvin hard shell case.

Originally introduced in 1984, and produced through 1989, the V220 was played by chart topping artists of the 1980's and was among the top selling guitars Carvin Guitars made at that time.

All of Carvin's necks and fingerboards undergo a long conditioning process in our de-humidification chambers to remove any stress in the wood and prevent future warping or twisting. The dual-action, fully adjustable truss rod helps keep the neck straight and true, and allows you to set the action just the way you like it. The headstock is the 6 in-line style with a gold Carvin logo.

The V220 features a 25" scale ebony fingerboard with pearl inlays, a 14" radius and 24 medium-jumbo nickel frets. The "Rapid Play" low action neck assures effortless playability throughout the entire fingerboard, while the smooth neck heel allows easy access all the way up to the 24th fret.
