Hello. Up for sale is another nice Hondo II Professional series P Bass that was made in Japan.
These basses are high quality professional instruments that were built by Tokai in Japan in the period 1980-1982. They are better than the very late 70s US Fender P's that always weigh a ton and have mile-thick finishes.
Overall condition is good to very good. The bass plays well and sounds great. It has normal nicks and dings and scratches to the finish. The neck finish has yellowed a bit. There is some normal fret wear.
Weight is pretty moderate for this bass at somewhere near 9 lbs.
The neck is a C neck and has the wide nut as a big feel. The truss rod adjusts at the bottom by the heel. It has the stamped numbers on there like other Tokai made stuff.
This bass includes a hardshell case.
