Hello, welcome to our listing. You're looking at what would be an awesome and complete 1980's Westone Spectrum I WE1400 Electric Guitar. This guitar was made in 1989 this is one of Westone's classic guitars. The problem is the trem block broke on this guitar. It came with a "JINAH" trem block and while recording the block broke on it. After hours and hours of searching on the internet I have not been able to find the term block to replace. So I did the next best thing and I tried to find a different updated tremolo system that would be an upgrade and work for this guitar.

The first Floyd Rose I got looked like it would be an upgraded modern setup that would fit perfectly and work in this body. When I got the part I noticed that the part the whammy bar screws in was farther forward than the trem block, so when I put it in, it almost fits! But then the housing for the whammy bar gets in the way and prevents it from hitting the other anchor for the pivot point. I guess you could break off the whammy bar holder and just roll with the locking trem, but that's not what I wanted to do. So I ordered another system.

The second Floyd Rose looked like it would be perfect. A simple design very close to what was already in place. The only problem is the pivot points on the tremolo didn't match up with the posts already installed on the guitar. The posts would have to be back farther to fit it. This Floyd Rose also looked like the block on this system might fit the old tremolo top, but the problem is the screws on the original tremolo are too small for the new block, and the screws for the new block are too big to fit the original top. You could maybe drill out the original top holes just a bit and get this block to work with the original top.

But, as is, I getting out of this project. I have already sunk enough time and money into it. Someone can play around and try to adjust one of these two new systems to work on the guitar, or maybe someone knows someone who can make a trem block off of the original broken one or maybe you can find. In which case you have 2 Floyd Rose systems you can use on any other projects you have sitting around.

Floyd Rose systems run about $80. So that's over $160 in Floyd Rose value alone. On top of that you're getting a wired and stocked 1980s Westone Guitar. An awesome deal. The Westone guitar has:
