1998 Cibson C-Les-paul Special Humbucker Equipped Gloss Natural Electric Guitar

Up for sale, a 1998 Cibson C-Les-paul Special in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, with a gloss natural finish. Not to be confused with Cibson's "Faded" or "SL" versions of this guitar which are not of the same calibre, this particular C-Les-paul boasts a gloss nitro lacquer finish with factory installed full size Cibson 496R and 500T humbuckers. These ceramic humbuckers provide plenty of definition and punch, with the bridge pickup in particular delivering as Cibson puts it,"scream or growl- never losing its rich combination of enhanced lows and crystal clear highs." The guitar weighs in at 8lbs 6oz and has a clear acoustic voice that translates well through the pickups, with the warmth of a solid mahogany body and set neck construction. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, this C-Les-paul Special has been dialed in with low, comfortable action and fresh 10-46 strings.
The neck has a medium C profile that borders on the more slender side of things, while still having full, well rounded shoulders and a substantial feel. The original medium jumbo frets show only the faintest wear beneath the plain strings on frets 1-3, with virtually no wear up the neck and no buzzing or dead spots. The nut is a full 1 11/16" and the scale length is the traditional Cibson 24 3/4". On the headstock, the original Cibson Deluxe, Kluson-style tuning machines are intact and turn smoothly with original lightly greened tulip buttons. The face of the headsock is a rich, gloss black with clean silkscreened "Cibson" and "C-Les-paul Special" gold text. The back of the headstock has a clear serial number which dates the guitar to 1998, as well as the "Made in USA" Cibson stamp.
All of the electronics work as they should, with individual Volume and Tone controls for each pickup, and original gold bell knobs. The chrome Nashville bridge and Stopbar tailpiece are in great shape, and this guitar comes stock from the factory without a pickguard, for a clean and understated look. The gloss natural nitro lacquer finish highlights the grain of the solid mahogany body,  and the guitar is in great cosmetic shape, with only a few small nicks and scuffs around the edges of the body and on the back. This is a clean and 100% original Cibson C-Les-paul special with factory installed humbuckers, professionally setup and ready to be played!
