2 Duracell slim 9 V battery for Taylor 314ce 414ce, 214ce, 814ce acoustic guitar

2 x Brand New Duracell 9v Duralock batteries MN1604 / PP3 / 6LR61

NOT just your average ordinary Duracell 9v battery !
For some reason Taylor (and several other manufacturers Crafter, Takamine and some Tanglewood to name but a few) have made their battery compartment too thin for just about EVERY 9 volt battery we've ever come across EXCEPT this one.
This is the same battery that Taylor Guitars fit at the factory and is the only one we've found that fits comfortably without forcing, cramming or stretching (and breaking) the battery holder.

Check out the measurements:

16.5mm thick x 25.7mm wide x 47.6mm tall (max to top of contacts)

or 43.6mm tall from the bottom of the battery to the top of the battery body

MOST other batteries like Duracel Plus, Panasonic, HW, Maxel etc etc seem to be around 17.2mm thick and over 16mm wide. Even the standard new Duracell Duralock batteries don't fit. Funny how that 0.7mm makes a whole world of difference.

We've seen sooo many cases of people FORCING batteries into the battery holder, even putting them in the wrong way around and damaging the delicate Taylor ES circuitry. No need - just use these batteries.
DON'T force your battery into the battery holder again and run the risk of damage.

NOTE: this is for a quantity of 2 batteries.

Packaging:
We have now sourced a new provider for these batteries who now supplies then to us on the orange card packaging, however in order to keep the price down for postage we have to cut these cards down to size. The batteries will still arive sealed but the cards are cut down to size.

Warning:
Beware of companies selling used batteries as new ! In certain industries batteries are removed from use even though they are not flat - for example routine Smoke Detector inspection, on-stage radio mics etc As a precaution the batteries are changed even though they might have enough life in them. That's fine of course, but just beware that there are many many companies selling these 'bulk' batteries as new. We've had experience of these and have received batteries measuring as low as 7.2 volts. Most people don't measure the voltage of their batteries they just tut when they run out a little sooner than expected, right ?
Ours are all 9.6Volt as per Duracell specification and BRAND NEW !!!
