2000 Warwick Thumb NT 5 String Fretless Nat Oil Finish MEC Active Hard Case

Up for sale is my 2000 Warwick Thumb Bass Neck Through 5, which I ordered new. This German made bass features the 18 volt active MEC pickups, and the Warwick Brass Adjust-a-Nut which I added soon after purchase. This nut is far superior to the original plastic one as it allows you to adjust the string height at the neck while adding a bit more sustain. Also included are the original hard case, Warwick wax, manual and truss rod tool. As far as condition is concerned, this bass has seen a few recording sessions as well as a handful of live gigs but has been well cared for. The neck does have typical fingerboard wear from round wound strings. This never bothered me nor does it affect play-ability. I assume it could be easily addressed if one were so inclined. Otherwise, the bass is in gorgeous shape, especially for being 16 years old with a few very minor marks on the body. Neck is super straight and has never needed truss rod adjustment. The tone is amazing, the action nice and low and works great with the extra fat .135 B string I have on there. I will be including the original truss rod tool, manual, Warwick wax and hard case.
