2001 NOS Custom SSS Strat Electric Guitar, Beijing Midi School Rare Collectible

This Auction is for one 2001, Custom Limited Production, Beijing Midi School of Music, SSS Strat Electric Guitar, Rare & Collectible.  White with Beige Pick guard and trim. 1 3/4” 44.45mm Body.  Wilkinson Big Block Bridge, Full size 250K pots, Special Orange Capacitor #0.47J.63, MWHSN Pickups, 5way switch, 21 fret Gloss Finish Maple neck with Rosewood fret board, 9.5 radius, C profile, with antique style tuners.  Weight as shown 9LBS 11.2ozs.  This guitar is one of the guitars built for the schools gifted guitarist students. They are not sold to the general public; and, are not available outside of China, to the best of my knowledge. This is one of two I was able to acquire.

The Beijing Midi School of Music is the first school in China devoted to modern music. Upon the school's establishment in 1993, its mission was decided: To promote an artistic and humanistic theory of modern music while offering students classes is advanced musical techniques. The definition of modern music covers the genres that have developed since the beginning of last century - blues, jazz, rock, pop, Latin, country, funk, fusion and the various styles that derived from them.  It is China's best professional school of modern music.  A Proven two-year (1200-hour) program is taught after students participate in a year long preparatory course.

The school sponsors the popular annual Midi Music Festival, which was first held in May 2000 in Beijing, Midi Music Awards and the Beijing Jazz Festival.
