These blanks measure 2" x 1/4" x 1/8" They are not curved. 

These are BLANKS! They are not drop in ready to go nuts!

These blanks are an appropriate replacement for Fender "style" model guitars such as Stratocaster Telecaster and all their cousins. 

These might work with Fender basses bass.You just need to measure your existing nut and see how tall you need. I also have these taller if you need more to work with.

Please measure what you have to determine what you need.

You need various tools to perform this task. A bench vice, a good medium flat file, some sand paper and slotting files to name a few. Use a pre-existing nut as a template. Align them in the vice to make your marks for slotting. I recommend using a sharp 1/8" chisel to remove the nut and clean the old glue for the channel. If the blank doesn't fit nice and snug into the channel just put a small amount of clear silicone caulk in the channel and pull the blank up into correct position. This will be a great alternative to glueing.  You don't need to permanently affix the nut into the channel, but it does need to be a snug fit. This technique will work great!  You may wish to install the nut and play the guitar then remove it to make further adjustments to the nut.
