70's Era Encore Solid Body Electric Guitar Project

This cool little vintage Japanese solidbody could use some TLC. Great looking cherry sunburst finish on a laminated (that's plywood) body with a one piece mahogany neck. The fret board appears to be maple and was probably at one time painted black. The frets do show some wear on the lower part of the neck but there is plenty of metal left. Scale length is 24" or 651 mm. The electronics are missing but the hardware is all there and functional but could stand some cleaning. The truss rod is functional. A couple of lipstick pickups and a simple set of controls and this twanger could be back in business. We can remove the neck for shipping to reduce the cost for overseas buyers.
