Jaw-dropping 2005-2006 MIM Strat from Fender.  Rare anniversary HSS, used for promotional purposes (has two tiny mounting holes, see close-ups).  This one weighs in at 8.00lbs fully-strung, has the gorgeous RW fretboard, anodized gold pickguard, limited edition decal on the headstock, white double-coil pickup, and the rare Jade Pearl metallic color.  1 11/16” nut.  21 frets.  Includes hardshell SKB triple-latching case, in excellent shape (some light exterior wear to this case).

Condition

Barely played, maybe 3-4 hours in total.  Was part of a larger collection of guitars, never gigged or even taken outdoors.  Smoke and pet free home.  Looks and feels like a floor demo, just very crisp.  There are two flea-sized “holes" on opposite sides, on the cutaway edges.  The guitar was part of a promotional display and had to be braced/secured to prevent it from falling.  The holes are not very deep and almost impossible to spot unless you know they are there.  A small amount of paint is flaked off in these spots, which are only a few mm in length.

Other than these tiny blemishes, everything is in perfect order.  The guitar received a full set-up as of April, 2016 at world famous Eric’s Guitar Shop in Los Angeles.  Fully intonated, adjusted, fresh-strings, electrics checked, neck oiled, frets polished, the works.  The guitar plays perfect; as good as new or better.  Please note the photos do not show the new strings, but it has a brand-new set of 10-46 D’Addario.  Sold with 30-day guarantee for your peace of mind.

This guitar is super clean, for a preowned it might as well be new.  No buckle rash, or chips on the headstock, or elsewhere.  A few finish scratches (very fine) which can be polished away if desired.  Completely stock components from Fender, however this is an uncommon combination of options you are not likely to see again any time soon.  So, is this the one you’ve been looking for?
