Very Good condition Bossa OBJ-5 fretless bass with gorgeous quilted maple top and pickup covers.  
The fretboard was professionally leveled by Peekamoose guitars in NYC, Which has removed the glossy pentabuzz-type coating from the EBONY board, it still level and plays and sounds great.  In fact this bass compared favorably to the Pentabuzz when I purchased it in 2001.  It's a super high quality Japanese instrument.  The electronics are AMAZING (really) and flexible with many USABLE tones.  Volume, Blend, 3-band active eq, and single coil/humbucker switch (this is awesome).  
There's a little scratching on the back of the bass which you kind of have to tilt it around to see, it's still very classy.  
To ship the bass safely I would like to include a DOUBLE gig bag from Undercover cases (a super primo bag, also used, but with many years left in it) and an SKB clam-shell style flight case.  This bass travelled safely this way for an 18-month broadway tour (only used one song per night).  It's a bomber rig that will transport any electric bass perfectly- I've also shipped a Fender I bought in Japan back this way with FedEx.  
I don't really work with this bass any more, and it's time to thin the herd.  But if you need a professional 5-string fretless that can nail the jaco tone (single coil mode, slight mid-boost, pan mostly to bridge pickup) AND Tony Levin Waters of Eden tone (humbucking mode, pan center or a little towards neck) and so many more, this is it.
