Classic Vintage Well Traveled Fender Edge Suitcase

Classic vintage Fender Edge suitcase dating from the 1950's / 1960's. The case has hard sides and has a brown tweed like pattern, with stitched dark blue edging and a black plastic handle. It has a pair functioning metal locks, (no key), which have rusted over time. There are old travel stickers from Copenhagen, Garmisch, Munich, Brenner Pass, Innsbruck and 2 women. The inside of the case is lined with deep blue paper with a crown motif in white, there is an owners label to the inside of the lid. We are not sure if the Fender guitar maker actually made these cases or had them made for promotional purposes, however we feel it would make a interesting addition to any classic Fender collector. An ideal case for guitar pedals, cables etc. The dimensions of the case are length 56.5cms, depth 19cms and height 34cms (excluding handle).

Condition

The rug is in good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The metalwork on the case has rusted, a small area stitching has come undone, and the internal lining paper has come away in two areas. We have included a number of photos of the case from many different angles in order that you can judge its condition.
