 CLEAR SCRATCHPLATE/PICKGUARD FOR FENDER JAZZ BASS.

These scratchplates are brand new and come with a protective covering to stop any scratches in transit.
They are made to fit the Fender Jazz American and Mexican models, but will probably fit the Japanese models as well. There are a few very slight variations in the fitment of different models, but these scratchplates are made from perspex, and can be adjusted slightly using a Dremel tool, or similar if the fit is not perfect in the first instance. If it is not possible to make a slight adjustment, I will give a refund, as long as the protective covering is not removed!
They are a simple replacement, just unscrew original and screw the new one into place.

Please note - I have had several cases open against me with customers saying they have received a blue one, or a green one by mistake.
This is the protective covering and NOT the colour of the scratchplate.
The covering needs to be removed from BOTH sides of the scratchplate.
(Please make sure it fits before removal).


These look great with any colour of Jazz bass, as they will show the full colour of your instrument, or the full grain of the wood, as shown in the photo.
Another useful feature of these scratchplates is that a picture/photo can be placed behind the plate, or your own design drawn/painted on to the back, thereby creating your own personalised scratchplate. Your design would be protected from the front, and would not be affected by playing, or scratching. (Please see my other listing for examples of this.)
These are not made by Fender, but are a direct replacement at a fraction of the cost.
