Danelectro 56-U3 Reissue Gold Sparkle Electric Guitar

For sale is an awesome looking, sounding and playing guitar from Danelectro. This guitar, the 56-U3, is a Korean made reissue of the old Danelectro and Silvertone U model mail-order guitars of the 50's and 60's. This model has a few choice features that make it an incredibly versatile guitar, such as a select-o-matic switch that gives you 6 different pickup configurations but also a blower switch that bypasses the select-o-matic and turns all the pickups on. This guitar has a really jangly tone thanks to it's lipstick pickups, but you can also balance in some really nice softer and rounder tones with different pickups selected. Cosmetically this guitar is in very good condition, with a few dings and scratches across the body, it is also missing it's pickguard. If you're looking at this thing you probably are aware already of how sweet these late 90's Dano reissues are, and with a rare combination of 3 pickups and this crazy cool gold sparkle finish, this one stands out from the rest of the already thinning heard.
