About Us

Absolute Guitars is a specialist guitar shop based in Backwell, on the outskirts of Bristol.  Our aim is to provide a specialist service for guitars and guitar related products only as we believe this enables us to provide an improved service focused purely on guitars rather than all music products.  

At Absolute Guitars we aim to provide a personalised and relaxed service to guitarists of all standards from beginners through to pro with our extensive range of guitars and accessories.

Within our electric Guitar range, we are authorised guitar dealers for  Fender Guitars, stocking a wide range of both Fender USA Stratocasters and Telecasters, and Fender Mexican Stratocaster and Telecasters. We also stock an extensive range of, Fender Squier, ESP  LTD Guitars, Jackson Guitars, Hamer Guitars, Spector Guitars,  Brian May Guitars, Tanglewood Guitars and just recently we have taken on a full Gretsch guitar dealership.

Within our Acoustic Guitar range, we stock Fender Acoustics, Tanglewood Acoustics, Takamine Acoustics and Ovation Acoustics.

Our Bass Guitar range includes Fender Basses, Spector Basses, Fleabass guitars, ESP / LTD bass guitars and the recently added G & L Bass Guitars.

Shipping

Our standard listings are calculated for UK Mainland addresses – Shipping outside UK mainland is available, please contact us for a quote. For deliveries outside UK mainland please ensure you contact us prior to ordering. For larger items or items over £50 in value shipping is sent via Parcelforce 24 (fully insured) Next working day delivery. For small packages and lower value items shipping is via 1st Class Royal Mail. Items are normally dispatched within next working day

Custom Charges

Charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.

Returns Policy

When you order from Absolute Guitars, you have the right to cancel the contract for purchase of goods within seven days following the date of delivery. If you decide to return your goods then you must contact us within the 7 days for a returns authorisation code and the goods must be returned in the original condition and packaging that they were received in.   Please note that items that come with protective film, i.e. scratch panels, guitars, these items must be returned with protective film still in place.  Once removed, no refund will be offered.  No refund will be forthcoming after this period. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within thirty days of cancellation. Refunds for non faulty items will be refunded minus the delivery charges (where free postage is offered a flat charge of £7.99 will be deducted from the refund) and return postage is at thecost of the customer.

If you are returning any item to Absolute Guitars, the package must be postmarked within seven days from requesting a Return Authorisation Code. Absolute Guitars will not refund any returns that are postmarked past the seven days and will return your product(s) to you.

Returning an item

Contact us for a return authorisation code

Place the item/s into their original presentation boxes and make sure the parcel is sealed securely. You must mark your parcel clearly as "Returned Goods" and must include the delivery note that was shipped with your order and indicate clearly the reason for return

For refunds; once we have assessed the items, the money will be credited back onto the credit/debit card that was used to place the online order within 30 days.

Return postage will be at the cost of the customer

Should you return any items without contacting Absolute Guitars for a Return Authorisation Code, you will subject to an administration charge of 20% of the total cost of your order.
