Luthier Tonewood Guitar Top MASTER Classical 

From Carpathian Mountians in Europe

The pictures represent the exact set for the Auction. There are two pieces in a set, combined to form a CLASSICAL  SIZE top for a guitar. Each Piece is sized at 20"in * 7.5"in * .25"in. These are the STIFFEST tops, very light in color, quarter sawn, with very nice cross silk, excellent tap tone, with practically no run out. The moisture content is always less than 12%. Due to the high altitude of the location of the trees the grain on the tops is very tight, 30-40 lines per inch. These tops are prepared by professionals, who have been in this business for many years. The botanical name of this wood is PICEA ABIES. This wood is often compared to Adirondack Spruce or American Red Spruce, but it still possesses the best tonal quality. Once you try to build an instrument with this wood, you will never go back to using anything else.

This is superb tonewood to use for quality sounding instruments. Just try it, I guarantee you will love it!
