The 1965 Stratocaster saw the return to a thick C-shaped maple neck, this time with a round-laminated dark rosewood fingerboard and larger pearl dot inlays. It was also the first year for enamel-covered pickup wire. That's what players will find on the Fender American Vintage '65 Stratocaster Electric Guitar, along with other authentic features including a three-ply white pickguard with 11 holes, lightweight alder body, aged plastic knobs and vintage-accurate pickups, bridge saddles, tuner spacing and more. Available in classic Three-color Sunburst finish.

The American Vintage Series has long presented some of Fender's best selling guitars (their early-'80s introduction, in fact, was one of the first signs that Fender was "back" as the CBS era ended). I will do my best to save you money on import fees, and have a huge amount of experience shipping overseas (or to another country).  Shipping to Canada will, of course, be less than the quoted shipping for international shipping (contact me for a quote).  The shipping quote for Brazil or Russia will probably be a bit more, as it is more expensive to ship there via UPS. (which is my preferred method). I can ship via USPS to Russia, so contact me for an exact quote. I can no longer ship guitars with a case to south america via USPS due to size restrictions. I was able to in the past, but they have become very strict about the measurements. I can get you a good rate via UPS though, normally around $235 for most standard sized guitar boxes with a case. Less for smaller boxes with a gig bag.
