This guitar is in on trade. It's in very nice shape. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned and the truss rod is functioning properly. This guitar features a Pine Body and there is a Knot in the body that has started to push through the finish a bit. This is a common problem when working with Knotty Pine. You can see the knot on both the front and back though it is larger on the back than the front. The paint and finish are affected by it but it does seem stable at this point. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity

Personally, I am a huge fan of Pine Bodied Fender guitars. I got to play an original Snakehead Tele years back and couldn't believe how light weight it was along with how amazing it sounded. When Fender got their hands on some 100 year old Pine a few years back, I knew cool things were on their way. This guitar, even acoustically, has a sweet ring to it that oozes classic Fender tones. It's bright but not harsh, bell-like and not brittle. With a Round, full sounding low end that isn't mushy. The set of 54 Pickups nail that classic, early Strat sound. The neck is a chunky C shape, giving the left hand a full feel in all positions. The 9.5" radius and 6100 frets also add to the playability making bends and vibrato easy.
