2002 Fender Jeff Beck Signature Stratocaster

Wow, check this one out...

This is an awesome JB Strat with assets from the very last of the 1st generation model (November/2000) and some from the beginning of the 2nd gen.

This is very interesting because the the 1st gen loaded pickguard looks to be original to the 2002 Candy Tangerine body as the solder joints appear untouched!

Some details reveal that this may have been a special order or an internal build at Fender:

The body is stamped "BECK" in the pickup cavity and the loaded pickguard is dated 2002 (this version was discontinued after 2000)

The neck dated Nov/2000, is definitely one of the last 1st gen produced as it has a nice chunky/fat profile with a substantial feel to it.

The guitar is as close to NOS as you can get as it looks brand new with only some handling marks to be found.

The pickguard, FLS pups & tremolo cover all have the factory protective plastic still intact.

The fantastic Candy Tangerine finish just puts this axe over the top!! 

Not to mention it plays & sounds awesome...it's so gratifying to hear & set the tone & TBX pots as they were intended with no wear on them at all.

This Strat is setup to play & tune well and will get you going right out of the box, with new stings, proper intonation and relatively low action with no buzzing.

The tremolo was set floating with excellent balance & sensitivity as any JB Strat should be. 

Included with this listing is an era appropriate Fender tweed hard case that is is in excellent+ condition. All latches & hinges are solid and work properly.
