A Telecaster with an immediately notable twist. This eye-catching design of the Limited Edition American Standard Double-Cut Telecaster looks classic and comfortable, but with that remarkable double-cutaway ash body, it’s distinctive and offbeat at the same time. Pure and rich Telecaster tone comes from a Custom Shop Twisted single-coil neck pickup and a vintage-style Custom Shop single-coil Telecaster pickup. The Butterscotch Blonde finish and black pickguard hearken back to the Telecaster’s original early-'50s era.Features

Unlike the single-cutaway model, this unique twist on the traditional Tele body style features a second cutaway for enhanced upper-fret access and a shot of unconventional character, shaped from ash for greater sustain.
Custom Shop Pickups
For sparkling single-coil tone with superior performance and twang, this Double-Cut Telecaster features a vintage-style Tele bridge pickup along with a Twisted Tele™ neck pickup—straight from the very best of our best, the Fender Custom Shop.
Modern Neck and Fingerboard
This American Standard instrument features a modern neck designed for comfort and performance, with a contemporary “C”-shaped profile and a smooth satin-finish back. The fingerboard features a modern 9.5” radius, with comfortably rolled edges for instantly “broken in” feel and medium jumbo frets.
Polyurethane Finish With Thinner Undercoat
This finish offers the superior look and durability of polyurethane, applied to a thinner undercoat that lets the instrument’s body wood flex, breathe and resonate more freely for a more unconstrained and natural-sounding voice.
Staggered Tuning Machines
Staggered tuners present tuning posts of differing heights that increase the break angle of the strings over the nut. On American Standard guitars, the D, G, B, and high E string tuning posts are set lower than the A and low-E strings, creating a greater string angle that improves performance and helps eliminate buzz.
Upgraded Modern Bridge
For superior intonation, sustain and ease of adjustment, American Standard guitars feature modern bridges with upgraded features. This string-through-body Telecaster bridge has bent steel saddles and a brass plate stamped with the Fender logo.
