NOTE:  This Custom designed Geddy Lee Style JAZZ Bass Guitar is on sale for the remainder of this auction period.  The starting bid has been lowered to $399.95.
 I am selling this Fender Squier Vintage Modified 1977 reIssue JAZZ BASS Guitar which has been Custom Upgraded and designed to simulated a Vintage GEDDY LEE Jazz Bass GUITAR.  This guitar comes complete with a Fender soft Gig Bag, which is not shown in the pictures.  

A Fender Squier Vintage Modified1977 ReIssue Model JAZZ Bass Guitar was used as the main starting Jazz Bass Guitar for this project, with many other custom upgraded Fender parts.

This Fender 1977 ReIssue Model JAZZ Bass Guitar originally comes complete with three single coil Duncan Designed Jazz Bass pickups as standard Factory equipment.

The original Fender Jazz Bass Bridge that came with this Jazz Bass guitar was removed and replaced with an original Leo Quan BADASS Bass Bridge which is the bridge that is used on all Fender Geddy Lee JAZZ Bass Guitars.

The original neck on this bass guitar was discarded and replaced with a Fender Vintage Modified Maple Jazz Bass neck with Pearl Inlays.   I custom upgraded this neck to replicate a vintage Geddy Lee Bass Neck.    I custom upgraded this neck with Vintage NITRO Amber Tone and Clear High Gloss lacquer finish.  After the neck was allowed to dry for over a week, it was buffed out and polished to a high gloss to bring out the natural shine of the NITRO Amber Tone and High Gloss Finish.

After the NITRO finish on the neck was complete, I installed a new Fender 70's style Vintage JAZZ BASS neck logo decal, and then I covered it with several more coats of NITRO Clear High Gloss Lacquer to protect the decal.  

After the neck was totally complete, I installed a set of SCHALLER Vintage Style Bass tuners  which look awesome on this vintage style Bass Neck (see Pictures).

As a final touch, a new "Fender" logo style neckplate was installed to mount the Bass neck and it looks great on this guitar (see pictures).

This Jazz Bass is in excellent looking and playing condition (see Pictures)!   The vintage style Jazz Bass neck with pearl inlays is completely straight with no twists or warps!  The truss rod has been checked and is in excellent working condition.  

I played this guitar for a while to test it and it sounds awesome and looks just a great as it sounds.   The Duncan Designed Pickups have a real nice Vintage sound and tone to them.



The Jazz Bass guitar body has no modifications, cracks, large scratches, or body routs at all.   For a used Fender Jazz Bass guitar body, there are no large scratches at all and only just ONE minor soft ding on the back of the body.  Other than the one small minor ding on the back of the guitar body, this body is in excellent condition. 

The action on this bass guitar is very low with no buzzing or high spots on the neck.  The action can be adjusted even lower or higher if desired.   The strings I installed are close to new strings because they were used only for a short while for  testing purposes.
