Here we have a Chinese made Fender Standard Series Deluxe Stratocaster. The Standard series comes with a solid timber body and this particualr one also has a two point trem with Graphtec type saddles and a nice dark metallic charcoal finish.Cosmetically there are a few minor dings, light surface scratches and marks, the former having been dotted in with enamael to mitigate their appearance. The thick single ply scratchplate has yellowed significantly, and mysteriously the plastic tip of the trem arm seems a little gnarled, but generally its a tidy and nice looking guitar.
In terms of function, everything works as it should, and the very minor age related fret wear certainly doesn't hamper a low and comfortable action and the two point trem is great when compared to a vintage 6 screw version.

Payment
Payment is required, in all circumstances, within 48 hours of auction end. Shipping
We aim to ship all items within a maximum of 2 days of receiving cleared finds. We are more than happy to have items collected by the winning bidder, subject to reasonable conditions (namely a mutually convenient time being agreed). We are quite happy to hold on to goods and ship to order, to allow for holidays etc weherever we can. Please note that WITHOUT FAIL all items are sent by Tracked and recorded means. We will not ship by any other method than this, and the shipping costs shown in the listing is to be considered the costs borne by the bidder. Aside from a small allowance for packing materials we do not make a profit on postage costs, and a significant overcharge will, where approriate be refunded to the buyer.
Terms of Sale
We pride ourselves on a rapid, friendly and professional service. We are delighted to try and accomodate any specific customer requirements as far as possible, on the understanding that this is made known to us before the close of the auction. We do however expect payment within a maximum of 48 hours from auction close. After which time we reserve the right to re-list, withdraw or second chance offer the item without further notice.
