FENDER TELECASTER 72 SUPER DELUXE THINLINE FILTERTRON GRETSCH STYLE BLACK MIJ

Mint condition, very rare Japan-made Fender Telecaster ’72 Super Deluxe with Filtertron-type pickups, like TV Jones Classics in sound, and with very Gretsch-type appointments such as the silver Lucite pick guard, block inlays, binding, etc. Finished in high-gloss black with matching headstock, bullet truss rod adjustment, 70’s style bridge, great for rock, blues, country, jazz, anything! They never made this model in the USA.

It is made from basswood, is very light in weight, maple neck with dark rosewood board, small vintage radius, large frets, all stock, and plays and sounds great.

This is from a 2015 batch of, I believe, 200 guitars made, and was imported by me from the USA, all VAT & duty paid, etc. JD serial number.

It is a really excellent guitar, as good as the AVRI models, and has only been on a few careful gigs, and looks like new, but is used so may have some very minor signs of handling, etc.

No case, but will be sent packed very well if it isn’t collected.

They don’t make these any more and I think that all of them were sold in the USA, so a very rare thing in the UK.
