This mint condition Fender Telecaster Custom USA VINTAGE 72 re-issue was made in the Fender factory in the USA, and is now, sadly, a discontinued model. The good news is, I have one. No dings, brand new!

It is Candy Apple Red metallic, and is in flawless as-new mint condition. It is very light weight, resonant, and has a fantastic easy neck profile, much better then the original 1970s issue. Have a look at the photos. There are some reflections from my lights in the shiny finish. There are NO marks of any kind actually on the guitar, it is just difficult to photograph without the odd reflection.

I bought this some time ago, they retailed at around £1449, and I set it up with an effortless low action, but I left on all of the protective plastic film on the pickups, pickguard, etc. which shows that it has NEVER been played. I bought it as a spare for a similar black 72 Thinline I use, but have never needed this one, so have decided to sell.

These are totally UNAVAILABLE in the shops now, and the guitar is genuinely in "as new" mint condition, unplayed, straight out of the shop, with all of the tags strap, lead & bridge cover, etc. still sealed. The Fender C&G case is original to the guitar and is also unused, although there are a couple of light scuffs on it from where it was stored in the shop where I bought it.

Period-correct early-’70s details include a three-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt™ adjustment, bullet truss rod nut and vintage-style “F” tuners; with touches including Fender Wide Range humbucking neck and bridge pickups redesigned and re-voiced to sound even more like 1970s pickups. Features include a semi-hollow ash body with f hole and gloss lacquer finish, C-shaped maple neck with gloss lacquer finish, maple fingerboard with 7.25” radius and 21 vintage-style frets, three-position switch with “barrel” tip, four-ply white pearloid pickguard, vintage-style Stratocaster strings-through-body hardtail bridge, knurled chrome knobs and chrome hardware.
