The G&L Comanche was one of Leo Fenders finest pieces of engineering prowess.  The first thing you notice is the distinctive Magnetic Field Designed Z Coil Pickups designed by Leo Himself. These pickups deliver a bright and sparkly top end while offering a robust bottom end and all without any 60 cycle hum.  So if your looking for a quite guitar in that respect you have found it.  You will find plenty of Power in the Z Coil pickups with plenty of glassy detail that really shines with Leo's Trademarked ( Passive Bass and Treble System,  Plus it has the Mini Toggle expander switch which allows you to combine the neck and bridge pickups to get a tones that will bring your playing to new heights. A toggle switch that does the same thing that a push pull pot does. Giving you even more amazing sound. 
Making the most of all this delicious Z coil tone is Leo's Dual Fulcrum Vibrato Tall Piece.  This is a work of engineering art that allows the player to vibrato up or down with unsurpassed stability.  These bridges offer a silky feel though a nice beefy trem bar  that you can really feel comfortable with.  Some other things to note on the this all USA made instrument is the high quality Rock maple neck and its upgraded vintage gloss lacquer for super easy playability.  High end Empress wood body, bone nut and special Spertzel USA machine heads tops this candy apple beauty off with lots of extra icing on the cake.  This guitar also comes with a high end USA made G&G Black tweed hard shell case.  Top end protection for a top end guitar!The Comanche was the very last double cutaway bolt on neck guitar designed by Leo Fender. It was the culmination of everything He had learned during his amazing lifetime. Founded by Leo Fender in 1980 The Comanche and all G&L USA made Guitars like this one continue to be made in the Historic G&L Facility on Fender Ave in Fullerton California.
