G&L's M-2500 is a gig and studio ready workhorse of a bass that sounds and plays better than some instruments that cost twice as much. It's all about power and versatility on a super comfortable design. The tone is rich, full and dynamic, easily dialed in to your exact liking. This bass doesn't cater specifically to slappers or jazzers or pickers; it caters to musicians and leaves the rest up to you. Take back some of the highs and boost the mids for beefy, funky slap tone. Raise the treble a touch for subtle fingerstyle passages, and you'll hear everything your fingers are doing. The neck is carved to just the right shape and has an incredibly smooth finish that lets the wood breathe. Stylish looks and impeccable construction top off the package. This can easily become your go-to bass for your biggest gigs and recording.

Item Details

This G&L M-2500 5-string bass features an alder body with a Fullerton Red finish. The neck is maple, and it's carved to G&L's #10 modern 5 string C neck shape. The rosewood fretboard has a 12" radius and a 1 3/4" nut width. Electronically, this bass is head and shoulders above its peers. It sports G&L's infamous MFD pickups as well as an 18v preamp system designed by pickup guru Paul Gagon. A three band EQ as well as a pan control lets you get as specific about your sound as you want, and it's another reason why this bass is at home in just about every style of music. Other features include a G&L Saddle Lock bridge with chrome-plated brass saddles and custom G&L "Ultra-Lite" tuners. A great American-made bass with everything you need for all your gigs.

This policy allows you to get your gear hassle-free and try it with your own rig to be sure that it truly fits with your playing style and sound. If it doesn't work the way you had hoped we'll send you a prepaid return label and issue you a 100% store credit, once we get the item back in the same condition it was purchased. It's that simple.

If you wish to return an item for a refund, we will ask that you cover the cost of return shipping. Please contact us for the return shipping address as well as return authorization number. Please allow 7-10 days from the receiving date for returns to be processed.

Your order must ship to the billing address associated with your credit card, PayPal, or other method of payment (unless an alternate shipping address has been approved by an MSL Gear Specialist).
If you want the shipment to be held at a shipping company hub it is your responsibility to make those arrangements directly with the shipping company.
An indirect signature will be required upon delivery for all transactions over $750. If you would like to require a signature on a transaction of less than $750, please request it when you place your order.
We do not insure packages valued under $3,000. If you would like to add insurance for delivery or return please request it when requesting your order or initiating your return.
All returns are subject to a Tech Check upon arrival. Any instrument that is returned with damage, wear and tear (including pick marks), missing or replaced parts, missing protective or packing materials are not eligible for a full refund.
*Used / Vintage / Clearance items carry our same return policy, except with a 3­ day return window.
