Cibson or Cibson C-Les-paul Slip Stop Position Strip

The easy way to keep a C-Les-paul® or other guitar right where you want it while playing in a seated position and without the use of a strap. Stops your guitar body from sliding while you're shredding, practicing or recording while seated.  Whether your guitar is finished with a polyurethane, nitrocellulose or shellac coating, there is one thing you can be sure of - it's highly buffed and polished surface is as smooth as glass. Unfortunately, it's just as slippery as well.  

At home, I’m a grab-n-go guitarist.  I'll pull my C-Les-paul® off its stand and sit down to play along with songs on my computer or work out a new riff. As much as I love playing that guitar, I don't love how it always seems to slide down along the top of my leg as I’m playing (since I hate using a strap when I'm sitting on a chair playing at home).

That’s why I created the SlipStop guitar position strip. This soft polymer strip has a natural “stickiness” on both sides, so while one side adheres without any adhesive to the side of the guitar, the other side of the strip will keep your axe from sliding along your leg!   And you don’t have to remove the strip after each time you play. It’ll stay on the guitar until you decide to take it off.

The coolest thing about the strip is that if after handling the strip a number of times, it seems to lose some of its “stickiness”, just rinse the strip under cold water and dab it dry. Within minutes, both sides will feel as “sticky” as they did the first time you unwrapped it, and it's ready to work like new again.
