The ’50’s inspired two-tone top finish with matching headstock and contrasting back, sides and neck will draw appreciative gazes from the audience while the ash center block construction ensures it handles high volume and high gain playing with ease. Bad to the bone, this guitar sings out loud and proud with That Great Gretsch Sound!™ The single Seymour Duncan® custom-designed P90 single-coil pickup uses alnico V magnets for full and highly dynamic rock ‘n’ roll tone no matter how it’s served up—clean, crunchy or with distortion, working with the High Sensitive Filter’tron™ humbucking neck pickup for a saucy twist on authentic Gretsch tone. The three-piece neck with fast-playing 12” radius ebony fingerboard offers a comfortable “U”-shape neck profile—great for both chording and melodic playing, this shape reduces fret hand fatigue by nestling itself in the hand’s natural curves.
