Voccoli "Bridgecasters" are not your ordinary barncasters. They're from the "other side of the bridge," all hand made in Brooklyn, New York. Using reclaimed, salvaged and eco-friendly materials, they embody both the vintage and the modern, the antique but ever changing aspects of the historic borough.
Here is a material I bet you've never seen used as a tone wood before: this guitar's body is made out of a solid piece of salvaged mulberry wood. The beautiful grain and color is incredibly striking -- and the one piece body allows for optimal tonal resonance. How can you go wrong? We even left the knots to show how little we've altered the wood. The Paul A. Bigsby inspired pickguards are made from the remains of a destroyed 1940s parlor guitar -- so they don't alter the tonal characteristics of the guitar and they look pretty damn nice. The neck is made from a solid piece of Canadian maple with a thick vintage-style profile.

But the cool factors don't stop there! This guitar features a brand-new old-stock 1960s Japanese tremolo. We stumbled upon one new in its original box and we couldn't resist. The system contains two strings inside the enclosed unit that have adjustable tension -- so alterations can be made to the setup as desired. It plays like a vintage Bigsby with a unique look. The tuners are made by Gotoh and hold tune like a rock. The floating bridge is made from rosewood, creating optimal tonal transfer between the strings and the body. The telecaster-style control plate is reverse for easy access to the volume and tone knobs for swells and other techniques.

And if that wasn't enough, we saved the best for last: the pickups are custom shop Sheptone humbuckers. We've included the specs for your viewing pleasure -- but you'll have to hear them to believe how good they sound. They're wired to a four way switch, offering both series and parallel settings in addition to each pickup individually. These pups sound incredible, no other way to describe it.
