Handmade Biscuit Tin Tenor Guitar Vintage folk instrument

A Completely Handmade Vintage Biscuit Tin Tenor Guitar. I have made over 50 instruments in the past, from canjos to ukuleles and slide guitars to cigar box guitars. This is my first Tenor Guitar and it is beautiful! I craft all my instruments in my parents shed (I live in a flat) in Hampshire, England and no two are alike. This is totally unique. I don't use woodworking machinery; only hand tools and carve every guitar neck by hand using a rasp and a handsander. Hours and hours of work have gone into making this instrument.

American white ash through neck and a walnut fretboard with 21 frets and side marker dots. Vintage Biscuit Tin body made by 'Huntley & Palmers'.

Hand crafted real bone nut

21" scale with a floating walnut and bone bridge

Geared machine heads

Fitted with 'Clifford Essex' medium gauge tenor guitar loop-end strings tuned to C. G. D. A.
