The RG is the most recognizable and distinctive guitar in the Ibanez line. Three decades of metal have forged this high-performance machine, honing it for both speed and strength. This RG7420 model has a basswood body and a Wizard II-7 neck shape that offers maximum comfort and speed. Its fingerboard is rosewood with 24 jumbo frets for bigger note bends and it also comes with dual Ibanez Quantum pickups that are wired to a 5-way switch with Master Volume and Tone. An Edge Zero II-7 tremolo bridge and black hardware complete the list of hard-rockin' appointments.

What was refurbished on this guitar:When this guitar came in from the factory, the only issue found by the authorized refurbisher was a few light finish scratches on the headstock (see photo). No repairs or modifications were made to the guitar - they simply gave it a set-up and left it alone. Aside from the finish scratches, it looks and plays like new.
