It is a beauty. I loved it from the moment I first laid eyes on it. I was nervous ordering something so expensive. This was a HUGE purchase for me. It was a lot lighter in weight than I thought it would be. I don't know if that's good or bad. I know it is good in that it won't be hard to lug around. The case was padded and very impressive. I know I will love my guitar. It sounds very rich and lovely!

This guitar is a gem and good luck finding a bad review on this. This guitar is nicknamed 'the cannon', but don't think it's going to be too bass heavy -- It definitely hits hard, but is just as bright. This will be a guitar I will cherish for the rest of my life!

If you are looking for a sweet and life long friend, this is it as to instruments. Not as fancy as some Martins but the sound more than makes up for its basic look. Strum an E or A chord on this or finger pick or knock yourself out and watch your audience perk up. The sound of the Martin D-28 is individual to other guitars. I can pick a D-28 out of a sound track most every time.

Just a sweet and dependable friend. Buy a really good case to protect it.

I love this guitar! It has a rich, balanced tone, and plays beautifully. When I pluck the strings individually it sings like a Harp, and when I strum...acoustic heaven! However, No regrets! My greatest joy right now is playing and singing with my guitar. I look forward to the next 40 years of playing, where my guitar's sound will only continue to deepen and resonate with age.
