Larrivee did a small run of instruments made with very beautiful solid Swamp Ash back and sides.  This is a superb example that was recently traded in by an excellent customer who took very good care of it.  The Swamp Ash has a very crisp tone with great resonance and sustain, and a ringing fundamental that is very nice.  It is similar to mahogany, with fewer overtones than rosewood.  The wood is very light also, and you can immediately notice the weight difference when you pick it up.  This is a great guitar at a great price.  It has a 1 3/4" nut width, 25.5" scale length, and includes the Larrivee hardshell case.  Good, affordable pre-owned acoustics don't last long, so if you are looking for a nice instrument that won't break the bank you better give us a call!
