The upgrades are the Buckeye non solid top ( first one ever done by MLP) , matching wood pickup covers and headstock, Nordstrand DC's and Nordstrand 3 band preamp, w mid select, and passive tone control, brass nut , Tom Kennedy style pickup spacing, again, the first MLP done this way.

This bass is set up with a low action and plays like a dream. Extremely comfortable. Very Fodera Imperial like vibe. Overall the bass is in excellent condition, it has been played some..but never abused. There are several small dings on the lower bout. Frets are silky smooth. Intonation is perfect. This bass really sings.
