About the artist:
Mario Mendoza is a painter/artist from Spain.
Born to a Hispanic father an airport worker for Iberia and a Persian mother who was an air hostess. He had an unconventional upbringing and travelled the world constantly from an early age; this enriched his experience with many cultures and consequently affected his love for photography and painting with rich colours. “I would take my sketchbook everywhere from Sunny California to freezing St Petersburg and sit in the main square and draw buildings and people”.
Painting in a variety of media and styles Mario Creates a strong impact on the viewer’s eyes with rich and vibrant colours. He has received numerous awards within the province of Alicante Spain as well as numerous exhibitions in UK and special mention in local newspapers.
Today Mario has a studio in the heart of the Hertfordshire countryside, a stone throw from Vibrant London, as well as an old studio by the sea in his home town of Alicante where he can insulate from it all and paint.
His favourite styles are Figurative to perpetuate beauty and Abstract to transfer the good energy of vibrant colours. Mario also experiments with impressionistic way of thinking.
 Born in 1978 in Zamora, Spain Mario’s first influence in art was his older brother Dani as well as artists such as Rembrandt, Picasso, Caravaggio, Singer Sargeant.
It is the imagery from his past that he paints in his paintings.
