Ovation Legend 2077AX Acoustic Electric Guitar with Hardshell Case

Ovation’s proven legendary roundback design give the Ovation 2077AX a potent, balanced tone that players will love. The soundboard of the 2077AX is made from AA grade solid-spruce with LX scalloped bracing and polished to a high gloss. A cutaway on the lower bout offers access to the upper register notes and will satisfy the demands of today’s player who want to maximize their soloing capacities. A pearl/oak leaf inlaid rosette compliments the high-gloss spruce top beautifully. The Deep Contour Bowl composite project the acoustic tone perfectly. A 5 piece mahogany/maple slim taper neck features a rosewood fretboard with low action that electric guitarists will love. The hardware is rounded out by a set of gold Ovation tuners.

Other features of this guitar include a pin-less bridge that make string changes easy and quick, and a preamp and Ovation OCP-1K pickup for easy sound control on stage with a perfect string-to-string balance, while pumping out a punchy tone with crystal clear highs.

The OP-Pro Studio preamp offers control over the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies for great tonal flexibility. The on-board tuner is easy to use and helps you stay perfectly in-tune, even when using open or non-standard tunings. The preamp precisely amplifies each note. Ovation's exclusive Expressor and Drive sliders put dynamic control and harmonic enhancement at your fingertips, allowing you to dial in the precise amount of sustain and punch required by the music.
