I worked on the bare neck to make an aged look by using French polish to coat it; then I fitted a set of Fender style open gear tuners.
The truss rod is accessible at the head end and I have checked the function to ensure it moves freely and precisely.
The neck heel is 63mm at the wider end, and the overall depth is 25mm.
There are twenty frets... I have started to prepare a twenty one fret neck as well.
This is the second of these I have had and the first I fitted myself to a body and it played as nicely as any P-bass neck I have known; excellent standard of fretting both in being level and having smoothly finished ends.
The rosewood board is nicely figured and the maple neck wood is bright and well grained with minimal runout.
So get going with that bass project you always had in mind to do!
