Hello. Up for sale is a rare 1970s Luxor 49999K guitar. This guitar was Made in Japan in the late 1970s  era.

These really interesting and striking guitars were made at the Fuji Genn factory ..

This one has a solid top and laminate Brazilian rosewood back  and sides. It has a D28 style neck and a D35 3 piece back. There is pearl trim around the top and a flowering vine inlay on the fingerboard.

  Condition wise the guitar is very good plus. It has some normal dings and fine scratches and is in great shape structurally. There are no cracks or repairs and the neck angle and action are great. The bridge saddle is high as well.

These guitars have a thin finish and its sunk into the grain lightly like most old guitars. It has a naturally aged appearance with the finish on the top having darkened slightly.

The neck is a moderate width V neck and it has the ice cream cone heel at the headstock. The fingerboard is rosewood and the frets have some normal wear. This guitar plays and sounds really good and is a little brighter than a 70s Martin dreadnaught.

A high quality hardcase is included. This Luxor is almost exactly like the Alvarez 5056 but the 5056 has a 2 pc back and the tops are laminate.
