The Rickenbacker 4003 (Fireglo) is a classic Rickenbacker bass - famous for its ringing sustain, treble punch and solid underlying bass.  It’s an improvement on the 4001s models made famous by McCartney an alike. There is no binding giving a more traditional look and the edging makes it far more comfortable - unlike the 4003 there is no binding or shark tooth inlays which make this stand out from the standard 4003.

Rarely does a Bass generate such a stir as the Rickenbacker 4003 - the new models are very good instruments indeed.

The updated 4003S version comes with the improved dual trussrod system and of course the famous solid bass tones, ringing sustain and treble punch Rickenbacker are known for.

This bass is in mint condition and is essentially new bar one very small 3mm dink on the very bottom – you can barely see it - doesn’t affect any playability or look. It comes with its own brand new lockable Rickenbacker hard shell case as well.
