Selmer took over the R.S.Amplifiers Ltd company in December 1947, and began marketing a range of PA equipment, closely followed by combo amps dedicated to single instruments such as the piano accordion and that new upstart....the electric guitar! In fact, Selmer had been producing amplifiers under their own brand name from 1935 onwards at Charing Cross Lane, London. RSA were based initially at Reynolds Road, Acton Lane, London W4, and it would appear that their product name was "Truvoice". All production was very soon consolidated at Charing Cross Road, and the Selmer-Truvoice story had begun!

This stunning and rare amplifier was n attic find and is in great working order and sounds brilliant. Fantastic Crocodile lookalike exterior. This amp is circa 1958 and are truly rare.
The Beatles were known to record with the bigger Brother Truvoice.

The mods we have made to the amp to bring it to todays health and safety standards areas follows but all can be reversed.
Full overhaul.Retain cosmetically. Convert original live chassis to isolated power supply. By pass input transformers but leave in situ. By pass mains dropper resistor and selenium rectifier but leave in situ. Replace all capacitors with physically and electronically nearest available parts. Replace pilot bulb and input stage.
