Squier by Fender Telecaster Affinity Series 2000 model with upgrades

This guitar comes complete with a few upgrades I've done over the years. First off, the original pickguard was replaced with the 3-ply black one you see. The original plastic input jack plate was replaced with a metal plate.

The electronics work and sound great and include the following upgrades: The 3-way switch was upgraded to an Oak Grigsby; the same used in the Mexican made Teles. The pots were upgraded to CTS pots and the capacitor is from a Mexican Stratocaster. The bridge pickup was also upgraded from the original, but I can't remember what brand it is. You can see the vintage style cloth wiring it has in picture #6. The neck pickup is still the factory original.

There are several dings and dents along the edges and scratches mainly on the back of the body. Pictures 7 through 11 show these blemishes.

A saddle screw from the low E string saddle was lost at one point and has been replaced with a different one. It's shorter than the others, but adjustments are still possible. You can see this in picture #12.

The frets aren't quite as rounded on top as they used to be, but there's still plenty of life left in them.

The guitar is currently strung with a new set of Ernie Ball Regular Slinky's.

As with any used guitar, it could probably use a new setup to your preferences.
