A fabulous little travel bass guitar with built in pickup/preamp and electronic tuner (which requires readily available CR2032 Lithium batteries, 2 included with bass). Tanglewood also make a fretless version, but this is the fretted model.

The average bass guitar is around 45" inches long, whilst this is just 33" inches long with a body depth of 3 1/4" inches, still enough to feel like a credible playable instrument but much easier to manage and small enough to travel with or turn up to a gig with. 

Please note no strap buttons are fitted as standard, but I will fit them for free before shipping should you request that!

Scale length is 21 inches so strings (which are rubber feeling Aquila Thundergut bass ukulele strings) tuned as standard have a slightly more relaxed, less tense feel. The tone through an amp is almost "upright" bass sounding, depending on if you use fingers or picks, and very convincing when played loud! Acoustically this would work in an acoustic duo, but the instrument comes to life when plugged in.

Whilst the small size does lend itself to being comfortable for younger players wanting a playable bas, this is aimed at anyone wanting a small credible guitar to play anywhere.
